Julie Buonocore is an associate with Rebar Bernstiel. Having spent her entire career in insurance defense, Julie represents insurance carriers and their insureds in complex pre-litigation and civil ligation matters. She vigorously represents a variety of clients in medical malpractice, legal malpractice, high exposure personal injury, professional negligence, and products liability matters.

Professional Experience

Julie has practiced insurance defense for her entire career Julie has parlayed her significant experience into leadership and education roles within the insurance defense community. She is presently a board member of CLM’s Young Professional Advisory Board and is a committee chair for the Conference Committee. She has also presented on a variety of topics from defending against a bad faith set up to unconscious bias in litigation. Julie is a former law clerk for the U.S. Attorney, District of Delaware, and clerked for the Honorable Franklin Van Antwerpen of the Third Circuit.

Education

Julie graduated Temple University Beasley School of Law magna cum laude and as a member of the Order of the Coif. While in law school, she was the Lead Research Editor of the Temple Law International and Comparative Law Journal. Julie studied at American University, where she earned a B.A. in International Relations and Spanish. She also studied at the Universidad Diego Portales in Santiago de Chile.
